Upgrading from Fedora 15 to Fedora 16

This is a simple tutorial on how to upgrade to Fedora 16 from Fedora 15.
For starters, the update will not lose your files, or programs, or settings of their programs. Just an update on the desktop and programs and avoid having to reinstall the system from 0.
Desvetanja? Yes, no matter how much effort is put, there is always some unwanted residue that eventually can be annoying. Spend a few times and almost always something minuscule.

"Fedora Update"

To update fedora only need to install a program called preupgrade, so:
yum install preupgrade
Then run it like this:
sudo preupgrade
And follow the instructions step by step. It’s simple, safe and comfortable. But remember to secure a stable internet connection, no matter if it’s not fast, it is important to be stable. If the connection is lost during the update may have problems to login later.

You can also upgrade using the console instead of a graphics application. To do this go to thalskarth blog and read your tutorial.
